• Established in 1995, Comprehensive Planning – Goodman, LLC. (CPG) is a specialty wholesale brokerage located on Long Island in Syosset, New York.

• CPG provides life insurance, long term care, disability income and annuities, focusing on impaired risk underwriting, life settlements and insurance solutions for business owners. The firm maintains partnerships with more than 20 carrier partners while providing a consultative approach to the brokers and clients they serve.

• CPG agreed to partner with Risk Strategies’ leading insurance wholesaler and program manager, One80 Intermediaries (“One80”). One80 offers placement services and binding authority for property & casualty, professional and personal lines, life insurance, and travel/accident and health coverages. Risk Strategies is a top 20 National Insurance Broker headquartered in Boston, MA.

Significance of Transaction​

• The partnership with One80 will allow the CPG team to roll out its program nationally by cross-selling its differentiated offerings to One80’s network.

• The transaction allows One80 to expand its geographic footprint and existing life insurance capabilities through the expertise of CPG.
